Datetimepicker validating event
The target runs after your program re-enters the message loop and the UI is back into a quiescent state.
Like this: I liked the idea with running my buissnes-logic after the validating event, but it still has some quirks in my production code.
If the grid is resized, all the columns still fit perfectly.
Any trailing column space after the last column is removed.
When validating, the value is "20", so my validation passes, but when the event from Begin Invoke hits, it has changed to "02" both in GUI and the value of it...
which will not be good for my buissness-logic, which expects the value to be within a certain range.
The date time picker contains a validation event which may be handled in code; the problem with validating the control using its validation event is that, if the validation includes confirmation of the change, the validation event will fire twice.
brings you a new paradigm to display and edit your master/detail relationships.I want to validate the Date Time Picker control in I am using it for date of joining for the employee so i dont want the control to allow selection of future dates.dates till the current date can be allowed to select. You can display a calculated field such as full name (composed of first name last name)., and then the user can expand the composite calculated field to edit the individual portions.
The grid can now automatically size all the columns to fit perfectly in the grids client area.
The picker itself has Custom format with "HH:mm" as format, and also Show Up Down set to true.
